MN WEEKLY ROUNDUP: There’s big talent performing in Minnesota this week thanks to the Minnesota Yacht Club Festival on Harriet Island, bringing the likes of Dope Lemon, Geese, Mt. Joy and Die Spitz, to name the acts that I wouldn’t miss, if I were going.
I’m more excited about my Wednesday, which will start with Pearl & The Oysters at Turf Club in Saint Paul before I head over to Bunkers for TWINE.
I’ll mention a few more residencies here, Monday’s Jumpsuit at Bent Paddle in Duluth and L.A.’s Monday Nights at Icehouse in Minneapolis, and Nicolas David with Dylan Nau at Ansari’s in Eagan on Thursday.
Saltydog is on the bill at the Minnesota Original Music Fest in Saint Peter next Sunday. The fest is headlined by Martin Zellar.
Saturday is a very busy day around the state, including Bayfront Reggae & World Festival in Duluth, Buffalo Galaxy at No Name Bar in Winona and Cas Haley with Reed Grimm and Jon Wayne at 7th Street Entry, to name just a few of the things going on Saturday.
Other acts: Teague Alexy at Sir Benedict’s, International Reggae All Stars at Bunkers, Old Town Tuesday Night Jam at Whitey’s Old Town Saloon, Bruce Woodman’s Jam at Carmody, Cherry Pit Open Jam, WE Collective, Jaybee and the Routine, Uff-da, Buffalo Galaxy, Chase & Ovation, Cigarette Picnic, Entheos Enclave, Sonja and Charity Reunion with Big Country Lee, Jacob Downs and The Mudpuppies, Shotgun Ragtime Band and Dr. Mambo’s Combo.
