Mikel Wright & The Wrongs return to Bunkers Friday, with Natalie Fine as special guest.

Monday, July 20
L.A. Buckner’s “L.A.’s Monday Nights” residency continues at Icehouse, with music from 8 to 11 p.m.
Up in Duluth, Teague Alexy plays most Mondays at Sir Benedict’s Tavern on the Lake from 5 to 8 p.m.
Jumpsuit continues its month of Mondays outside at Bent Paddle Brewing from 7 p.m. to 9.

Tuesday, July 21
International Reggae All Stars have their long-running Bunkers residency from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Old Town Tuesday Night Jam is at Whitey’s Old Town Saloon in Northeast Minneapolis, starting at 10 p.m. and going until about 1 a.m.
In Duluth, Bruce Woodman has his weekly show at Carmody’s from 8 to 11 p.m., and it often goes close to the bar’s 2 a.m. closing time.
Wednesday, July 22
Winona’s Afflatus will be playing Silverwood Park in Saint Anthony, with music from 6:30 to 8 p.m. It’s part of the Silverwood On Stage series, which also had Saltydog earlier this summer.
There’s music on summer Wednesdays out at the Rugged Spruce Golf Club in Mahtowa, south of Duluth. Often it’s Colleen “Boss Mama” Mhyre, who owns the place along with her husband Jim.
This week, the music is performed by the Duluth duo Dane and Becky and by Misisipi Mike Wolf. The music is free and starts at 7 p.m., going to around 9 p.m.
Back in Minneapolis’ North Loop, TWINE kicks off its weekly residency at Bunkers at around 9:30 p.m., and the music goes to about 1 a.m.
Also in North Loop, the Cherry Pit Open Jam is at Berlin every Wednesday from about 10 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
REFLECTIONS: I’ve been making use of Bunkers’ mirrors during TWINEsday, as of late, though you might not find me back there until late August due to a busy travel schedule.

Nicholas David’s month of Thursdays at Ansari’s in Eagen continues. This week, he’ll have Duluth’s Teague Alexy with him from 7 to 9 p.m.
Jaybee and The Routine have their weekly Bunkers residency from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Minneapolis Grateful Dead tribute China Rider and Bob Dylan tribute Hard Rain play the Paramount Theater in Saint Cloud, with doors at 6 p.m., and show at 7 p.m. It’s three sets of music, with each band playing a set and then combining for a third.
Friday, July 24
Mikel Wright & The Wrongs return to Bunkers, with Natalie Fine opening the show, which kicks off at 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 25
Acoustic folk-grass band Junkyard Mule plays the Rugged Spruce Golf Club in Mahtowa at 7 p.m.
Sunday, July 26
Grateful Dead tribute Shotgun Ragtime Band plays show No. 788 at the Driftwood in South Minneapolis this Sunday. The music starts with Phine and Friends at 6:30 p.m.
Dr. Mambo’s Combo, the longest-running residency in the state, continues their Bunkers legacy at 9:30 p.m.
