They are separate, unaffiliated shows, but String Cheese Incident and Adam Greuel of Horseshoes and Hand Grenades both announced “pop-up” shows this week.
String Cheese was already playing a pair of shows at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre (April 28-29), but announced a free pop-up day-time show at Chicago radio station 93XRT’s BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois Performance Stage in Chicago on Friday April 28.

Adam Greuel, whose side project is Adam Greuel and the Space Burritos, seemed to be moved by the weather.
He announced his pop-up show this coming Saturday at Linneman’s Riverwest Inn in Milwaukee on Facebook yesterday. Get more details and tickets here.
