At long last, The Disco Biscuits made their way to The Fillmore Minneapolis on Thursday.
Bisco was initially scheduled to play a pair of shows at the Live Nation-operated venue back in April 2020, but the shows were canceled because of the pandemic. The venue opened in 2020.
Thursday’s show marked the first show at the venue for many Minnesota jam fans.
There are six total locations operated by Live Nation, including the original in San Francisco, Philadelphia, New York, Denver and Detroit, and there is significance to the psychedelic rock scene as the original Fillmore in San Francisco wound up in the hands of legendary promoter Bill Graham in 1966, playing host to bands such as Grateful Dead, The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Pink Floyd.
