Field of Vision, King Gizzard’s inaugural festival on U.S. soil, got underway in Buena Vista, Colo., Friday.
It was a crazy first day of music, with the likes of Hannah Cohen, White Fence, King Stingray, Shannon Lay, Reverend Baron, The Songs for Kids Band, DJ Boogie Boudreaux, and DJ Crenshaw, warming things up for King Gizzard’s three-hour marathon set.
Jello Biafra, the former lead singer for Dead Kennedys, sat in with King Gizz late in the show as the band covered “Police Truck.” Biafra was set to DJ a set on the second morning of the fest.
